All those pictures of your beautiful house have made me miss France! I'd forgotten how beautiful it is there. So different from Denver! I've been praying for you since I got your letter a while back. I love reading your posts and seeing all the pictures. Seeing you smile so beautifully has been a great source of inspiration for me while stuck at work. Thank you so much for this web site!

Hey Franklins,
Looking at all those pictures of Les Meurs, and the Chateau Charge brings back memories. Even the picture of the sunflowers makes me smile to think about last summer. I am so happy you guys got to go home to your house. Dewey did you have to clean out the guest bed again this year? :) I wish I could be at your house with you zapping the slugs in the garden with the salt! Take care and enjoy your house, as much as I did while I was there! I am still thinking of you and praying for you daily! Hopefully I'll see you soon!

Dear Debbie,
I wrote you almost a week ago and I am not sure if you received it, thought that maybe the email address was an unused one since you are now back in Europe. I have began having you added to prayer list in the Tampa and Orlando areas. I believe in God's ability and I also believe in you Debbie. You are a survivor. I see by your website that your spirit is still the strong sweet gentle "debbie" I knew years ago.
I wish I were able to offer to assist you financially but God has given me the ability to be able to pray for you, as you had for me when I was the one in need of prayer.
What a gift the Lord has given us in prayer. We are instructed to "...pray without ceasing", Debbie I want you to know that I am asking that the Lord give this desire and ability to everyone who is praying on your behalf. I pray you feel the peace that surpasses understanding and feel no more pain from this aweful cancer but only the comfort from His grace to you. I love you and have missed being in touch. I will continue to get updates from the site. Debbie know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.
I love you! :^) Laura

Dear Debbie, Dewey, and beautiful Auroura: I'm not sure that you'll remember me: I was in London with you (Debbie and Dewey) in the Summer of 1996. What an amazing time I had! I had spent many summers in England with my family, but I never experienced it the way I did with you that summer: walking to your flat to eat popcorn and watch Jesus Christ Superstar, going to Camden town to hear your friends play on the loch, sitting down on overstuffed pillows on the floor of a pub to hear some of your friends play in a group called (I think) Pray for Rain, sitting on the back poarch talking and looking at the trees - I had such a tremendous time with you: you are both absolutely enchanting! And such fun too! You live so ...out loud! I love it! I can think of a picture I have in my album of me giving a piggy-back ride to Dewey while Debbie giggled and another of Dewey sticking his tongue through a napkin and making silly faces. . . I'm sure that Aurora has delightful playmates! She is an absolutely beautiful little girl! She looks just like her mommy! I remember watching the way you two interacted - your gentleness, humor, compassion, joy - and earnestly praying that I would be able to find a companion like that, someone to feel that much love for. I'm actually married now, and my husband and I also have a 2 year old - Dalton. I'm so thankful for that summer together, and the experiences you shared with me. Debbie, I remember long talks in your office about faith, and spirituality, and the Church - I was and am inspired by you, and still think of you fondly as the Christian woman I want to be.
My mother is also a survivor of Breast Cancer. I'm going to share your site with her so that she and her friends and the rest of their congregation can fervently pray for you as well. I've seen firsthand what amazing miracles God can and does perform. We will pray for you every day - for all of you: for your healing, for your continued strength and courage, for your joyful life together! You are a great blessing!

Dearest Debbie, I am so glad you are finally home! There's nothing like being in your own bed. I have thought about you and prayed for you all day. I feel like God has put a burden on my heart to start a praying/fasting chain for you. It would be wonderful if your friends and/or family would pick a day of the month to fast and pray for you. If enough people participate, there would be at least 1 person a day fasting for you every day of the month. For those who want to be a part of this, email me, and we'll get this going. Deb, enjoy your time at home. Soak up the sun and feel God's breath as He breathes His blessings on you. Patricia

I pray that that big ole stone house, the wheat and sunflower fields, the blackberry-lined lanes, your country neighbors and all those gorgeous country foods, and the most excellent atmosphere on that hill in the valley will refresh you ... heart, soul, mind and strength and ... make way for a long and full season of healing and health and ever more life in your living.

Hello Debbie, Dewey and Aurora,

It was a pleasure to have met you on the plane from Atlanta to Paris. I hope you were able to catch your 9.00 AM train home. We missed our connecting flight and had to wait for two hours for the next one. We were all quite exhausted but were still able to chuckle about the situation.
I enjoyed talking to you Dewey and would be interested in buying the CD, I«ll ask my father to send me a copy of the song he composed for my brother who died of cerebral palsy, it«s a great song and I«m sure you all will like it too.
Debbie, I told you that before: You are beautiful and I«ll be praying for you on a continuous basis. I took the time to start praying in the plane. I pray that God gives you more strength and that you will be healed. I«m not very good with words, but I just wanted to let you know that I love you all very dearly. Yours Kate

Don't be afraid, Debbie. The Lord loves you very much!

May I offer a suggestion? See - many, MANY people have overcome cancer by the natural, simple, inexpensive therapies designed by God and outlined in the Bible. Maybe you could go that route.

As Dr. Day says, cancer didn't suddenly appear and start eating your flesh... it happens slowly, one day at a time. You have other options besides chemotherapy (which works against your body's immune system).

Debbie, I want to encourage you to lean on the Lord... maybe just go outside and lie down... look up at the skies and acknowledge His greatness... take a deep breath... consider His faithfulness and His loving kindness.

I love you and bless you in the name of Jesus!

Dear Debbie,

Fritz and Dewey did an incredible job on the 'Healing Beauty' section of your page. Lots of love in their work, I can see it. I am glad folks will have the chance to be exposed to more of who you are through this project. I believe, by the way, that you have been a healing beauty your entire life. I am going into the studio today to take a shot at the vocal on your song. It should be done within a week. Hope you have some sweet moments today.

Love Always,

Debbie, Dewey and Aurora -
I just read about he Healing Beauty project - what a wonderful idea. I so look forward to receiving the CD - one thing I request from friends when they come over is to bring their faviorite CD with a mesage from them written on it. A different friend is thought of each time music is played over here.
I think of you so often - yet each time I play the CD - you all will be there.
Love to you,

oops, the message got cut off. lets try again...

So, I was looking at the wedding photos, and didn't see you adorned with "henna tatoos" Debbie... did I miss some earlier pictures? :) That reminds me, Im sorry I still haven't gotten my film developed from Bruce & Anna's barbeque, where a few old Heidelbergers gathered-I was going to send some to you. Seeing all the littles ones around (from babies to pre-teen) was the best. I confess, I misplaced the film roll, and will probably have to clean house this week to find it. rats.

Its been very warm here on the west coast, and I imagine that its hot and sticky there in Atlanta. I hope that doesn't zap you of too much energy- you are always smiling and looking so great in the photos, you would never know that there is so much going on inside. I keep telling people of my "miracle friend." take care, justine
